Chocolate Coconut Maca Smoothie

I am all about making decadent chocolate creations for breakfast or a mid-day snack. This smoothie is naturally sweetened with banana and packed with fat like avocado and coconut.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1/2 Avocado

  • 2 TBSP almond butter (or nut butter of choice)

  • 2 TBSP coconut butter

  • 3 TBSP chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 TBSP cacao powder

  • 2.5 cups filtered water

Directions: Blend until smooth

Note: If you are taking the smoothie on the go or drinking it slowly - you may want to add a bit more water. The avocado thickens it up quite a bit!
