Raw Chocolate Mousse

This is one of those recipes that is DANGEROUS because it tastes SOOOOO GOOD and is HEALTHY.

This chocolate mousse is made from whole food ingredients packed with nutrients so that you don’t have to feel guilty about how much of it you eat. It is a perfect stand alone treat or you can use it as icing!

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados

  • 1 cup dried Mejool dates (the softer, the better!)

  • 1 cup raw cacao powder

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup coconut oil

  • Optional: 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

  • Toppings: chocolate chips, nuts, fruit, flowers

Directions

  • Blend together

  • let cool in the refrigerator for that ooey-gooey mousse texture, or eat right from the blender :)
