Cashew Cream Sauce
Ya know when you have a food craving that you just can’t kick?
I have been dreaming of creamy pasta sauce for weeeeeeks. I even bought a fancy dairy-free sauce at the grocery store but it just wasn’t what I had envisioned.
Here is a dairy-free sauce that I actually CRAVE. Creamy, delicious, and easy to make - this recipe will definitely be one of my go-to’s.
Serves: 2
Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
2 cups raw cashews
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon garlic powder (or 2 fresh cloves)
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh basil or thyme (5-10 leaves)
Salt and pepper to taste
1.5 cups filtered water
Instructions: Blend for 1 minute. Repeat if needed until you reached a creamy consistency
